SKAKO VIBRATION is a know-how company that supplies customized standard machinery to a wide range of customers, worldwide. The hardware section’s product range includes lift tippers, feeders, conveyors, screening, weighing and sorting vibration machinery for industries such as automotive, steel and iron, foundries, chemicals, recycling/waste, as well as other manufacturing industries.

We’re looking for a Head of Sales, who will get full management responsibility of the sales organization with 13 experienced employees worldwide, and the task to increase our sales to existing and new customers. As a key manager in the company, you will report directly to the Managing Director of SKAKO VIBRATION A/S, and have considerable influence on the strategy and how you manage the team and the distribution chain.

YOUR PROFILE
Your primary ambition is to be an excellent sales leader, who sets ambitious goals and coaches employees to achieve the planned results. You are excellent at reaching a smooth co-operation with the rest of the organization, and feel confident with your interpersonal management skills. You are proud of your commercial skills that you have documented in previous or current positions.

You have a technical background as marine engineer or mechanical engineer or similar experience, and have used this in your work with technical sales. You know how a contract manufacturing company works, and what is key in achieving results with sales of customized machinery through an international network of distributors and agents in combination with your own sales organization. If you have specific background from the vibration or adjacent industries, this will be considered an advantage, but it is not a necessity.

The ideal candidate can either be a current sales leader with excellent results, or a matured talent with some management experience who is ready to take on a top-level leadership sales role. You have hands-on experience with pipeline management and a desire to use this tool effectively so that the sales organization is motivated and the managing director can rely on your forecast.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management responsibility for hardware sales section in SKAKO VIBRATION
  • Responsible for keeping pipeline up-to-date and that sales results follow or exceed
    expectations
  • Responsible for road-to-market strategy, plan and results
  • Development of current markets via coaching of area sales managers
  • Analyse and develop new markets
  • Responsible for implementing best practise in the sales organization and ensure
    continuous development
  • Responsible for business intelligence
  • Overall responsible for marketing
  • Sharing of market intelligence and strategy with group sales organizations
  • Estimated number of travelling days per year: 30-40

OUR EXPECTATIONS TO YOU

  • Sales manager with a technical mindset
  • Marine engineer or mechanical engineer – other background can apply
  • Experience in sales in the process industry
  • Experience from contract manufacturing company
  • Experience with forecast/pipeline management
  • Experience with road-to-market planning and management
  • Experience in managing and motivating autonomous sales staff cross-nationally
  • Documented sales success in previous or current position
  • English, and preferably also German, on negotiation level
  • Living in driving distance from Faaborg
